Grand Parents' Day Celebration

New Green Field School, Alaknanda celebrated the Grand Parent Day and inauguration of Sports Arena on 27 November, 2019 in school premises. Honourable Mr. P.K. Tripathi former chief secretary of Delhi, presided over the function as the chief guest.

Revamped amphitheatre, well-equipped basket ball court and newly overhauled cricket pitch were inaugurated by Mr. P.K. Tripathi. It was followed with a speech addressed by the chief guest. Grand Parent Day celebrations commenced with pious invocation to Goddess Durga. The next flair had a group Song, titled ‘Blessings’, dedicated to the unconditional bond which grandparents share with their grandchildren. ‘A skit’ showcased the theme of working parents shouldering the responsibilities with their children and grandparents to trail the path of success. ‘Enchanted World’,  a thematic dance of toddlers, pre-primary wing  enthralled the audience by being the fairies, mickey mouse, lion, chhotta bheem etc in life. It was followed by mesmerizing chants of sacred ‘Hanuman Chalisa’. Eternal Splendour radiated positivity amongst the audience. To add fun and frolic to the day, a lively open house quiz was conducted and prizes were awarded to the winners. ‘Pageant’- A fashion show depicting the optimum use of the recycled material set the stage in vogue. A ramp walk ‘ignited the awareness to save the mother earth. Little divas and hunks adorned in beautiful attires made up of- straws, paper plates, clips wrappers, buttons, tissue papers etc. conveyed a very significant message of “Save Our Environment”. Grand finale-‘Umang’ concluded the event followed by the vote of thanks and patriotic rendition of National Anthem.
