NGFS, Alaknanda continues to inculcate a sense of social responsibility among the students. Following the tradition Swachchh Bharat Pakhwada was conducted during the first half of the month. Day wise activities were taken up. Primary school children were also briefed about the importance of keeping clean.
On 4th September a special assembly was held to mark the campaign and make the students aware of benefits of keeping clean. Oath taking ceremony by the council members was followed by an array of activities like Poster Making, Slogan Writing, Letter Writing, Poetry Recitation etc. spanning over the fortnight. These activities will definitely carry forward mass awareness among the students and contribute towards this mission of being clean and keeping the surroundings clean.
