The school celebrated Earth Day with an array of activities organised on the theme "Awareness on Plastic Pollution". A cleanliness drive was conducted by students wherein they tried to clean the surrounding of plastic waste in their own small ways. They discussed about the different alternatives to single use plastic and how they can reduce the impact of plastic waste. An essay writing competition was organised on the topic " Eliminating single use plastic from our life". Also a recitation competition was held on the topic "Say No to Plastic". All the above activities helped in spreading mass awareness among the students on minimizing single use plastic and making the earth a better place to live in.
